A company has a responsibility to build the community it trades in.
We take that literally. Every platform on this site exists because somebody in this region was locked out of something they should have had access to, and the commercial case and the community case turned out to be the same case. That is the agenda. NDARAMBA, which is free to everyone and always will be, is where it goes furthest.
Every platform here is solving a community problem.
Not as a side effect and not as a story told afterwards. The reason each of these was built is that a group of people were being shut out of a market that should have been open to them.
CHINYAMA - access to the cattle market
A great many cattle owners in Botswana have the animals but no reach into the buyers. They sell to whoever comes down the road, at whatever that person offers, because the alternative is to keep feeding stock they cannot move. CHINYAMA puts their district on a board a buyer in another country can read, at a cost small enough not to matter. That is a household's income, and it develops the community around it.
CHITO - work without leaving home
Botswana produces educated, capable professionals faster than the local market can absorb them. The barrier to being hired abroad is not skill, it is an employer with no way to trust the setup behind the person. CHITO verifies that, free, and the earnings come home rather than the person leaving.
MAGRAFT - the freelancer who gets paid
Independent creative workers across the region carry the same two risks: work delivered and not paid for, and clients who cannot tell a professional from an amateur. A managed marketplace with a person standing behind the brief takes both of those off the individual, who has no leverage to fight them alone.
SETSEBI - practitioners who can be found
Skilled trainers in smaller markets are invisible to the organisations that need them, so budgets fly to consultants in bigger cities. A register that names the practitioner and the market keeps that spend and that skills transfer in the country it came from.
MUSIKA - buying without a middleman's mark-up
Small businesses buying across borders pay for their own lack of information, in mark-ups, in bad freight, and in goods that never arrive. One landed price from a verified supplier is the difference between a small trader competing and a small trader closing.
CABANGA ACADEMY - the certificate that counts
Digital skills are taught everywhere and evidenced almost nowhere. A structured certification, assessed and issued, gives a young person in this region something an employer will actually read. It has been running since 2025.
NDARAMBA is one hundred percent free, and it is the third road.
The rest of what we build is a business that happens to do good. NDARAMBA is not a business at all. Nobody is charged: not the person reporting, not the lawyer, not anyone. It is the clearest thing we do for the community and it is why it sits at the centre of this page.
Corruption and extortion are the same act.
A clerk who will not process your file until you pay. An officer who will drop the matter for a fee. A supplier told the tender is available at a price. We call one corruption and the other extortion, but the person on the receiving end experiences one thing: a demand backed by a threat.
And they are handed two options. Pay, or take the consequences. That is the trap, and it holds because refusing costs something and there is nobody standing next to you when it does.
There is a third road.
NDARAMBA is that third option. It does not ask you to become an investigator, confront anybody, gather proof or pay a demand to record it. You say what happened, and an admitted lawyer is on the other end of the line within one business day.
The name means I refuse. The supply side is a panel of admitted practitioners across the region, and the introduction is made by a person, the same way every introduction we make works.

These are not features NDARAMBA has not got to yet. They are things it will not do, and the reason each one is off the table.
It takes no money, from anyone
Nothing from the person reporting and nothing from the lawyer. No referral fee, no fee split, no cut of whatever the matter becomes. Charging a person to refuse a bribe would be its own kind of demand.
It does not publish accusations
When somebody names a person or an organisation, that goes only to the lawyer they are connected to. It is never published and there is no blacklist. The public register carries the pattern, never the person.
It does not decide who is guilty
No legal advice, no promised outcome, no verdict. That is the work of lawyers, investigators and courts, and it is not improved by an app having an opinion about it.
It does not pretend to be the police
A submission is not an official police report, and the site says so on its face. Implying a line to law enforcement that does not exist would put people in more danger, not less.
This is where we start, not the whole of it.
NDARAMBA is the first thing we have put out that is free by design. It is not the last, and the work below is already in the plan rather than on a wish list.
Community mentorship
The founder has mentored students for about ten years, averaging students from around ten universities a year across the countries the group reaches. We are turning that from one person's habit into something the company runs properly.
A startup accelerator
We know how to take a business idea from a page to a working platform, because we have done it seven times. Handing that to founders in this region who cannot buy it is the most useful thing we own.
Skills, at no cost
Structured digital training already exists inside the group. Opening cohorts of it to people who could never fund it is a short step from where CABANGA ACADEMY already stands.
Because it is the same build we do anyway.
We are not a foundation and we are not claiming to be one. What we have is the ability to build a register with a person behind it, and pointing that at a community problem costs us a build rather than a budget line.
We would rather say that plainly than dress it up. A company that can build the thing and does not has made a choice. We made the other one.
It is built in Botswana and framed on Botswana institutions first, because that is where we are and because being specific is more useful than being regional and vague.

If somebody is demanding money from you, you have a third option.
NDARAMBA is free, in confidence, and connects you to a lawyer rather than to a database. If you are a legal practitioner, the panel is open to admitted practitioners across the region.
