The platforms

Seven are open. Here is how each one works.

MUSIKA, MAGRAFT, SETSEBI, CHINYAMA, CHITO and NDARAMBA are built on the same pattern — a register anyone can read, and an introduction made by a person — applied to six different problems. CABANGA ACADEMY has been running since 2025 and teaches the discipline the rest are built on.

MUSIKA

The B2B sourcing corridor, named for the corridor’s own word for market. A business posts what it needs to buy, or what it has to supply, through a short form. A person reads it and comes back on WhatsApp inside a business day with a verified counterparty, one landed price and a delivery date.

One landed price means the whole number: goods, freight, border and duty. Most cross-border deals in this region fall apart in the gap between a quoted price and what it actually costs to get the goods to the door, and quoting the whole thing up front is the point of the platform.

Verification runs on both sides and is free and optional. Every marketplace checks the goods and almost none check the company paying, which is why a verified-buyer badge is worth more to a supplier than their own.

MUSIKA does not own trucks and does not clear customs. It appoints partner transporters and licensed clearing agents, and answers for the coordination between them.

MAGRAFT

A managed creative marketplace on which businesses brief and pay the platform rather than the individual creative. The platform holds the client's funds against the job, assigns a project manager to run it, and pays the creative only once the client has the finished files.

The distinction matters because it moves the risk. On a conventional freelance arrangement the client pays a deposit to someone they have no leverage over. Here the client's agreement is with a registered company, and that company's agreement is with the creative.

The undertaking is one sentence: the job is completed through replacement or in-house production, or the money is returned. Physical production is guaranteed for completion of everything within the platform's control; dates on physical work are expressly not warranted, because they depend on printers, materials, venues, permits and weather.

The confirmation system is not yet deployed, so every listing on the board currently reads as not confirmed. What the client relies on is not the individual's status but the platform's contractual undertaking.
ItemDetail
MarketsBotswana, South Africa and Zimbabwe. Work is accepted from elsewhere and assessed case by case.
DisciplinesNine, with fifty-six named jobs underneath them. Outdoor, event and print carry production as well as design.
Budget bandsFour, quoted in rand and displayed in pula and US dollars at the rate of the day.
Two ways to buyPick a named creative and brief them, or describe the outcome and be quoted one figure for the whole job.
Cost to the clientNo account, no subscription and no platform fee. A figure is confirmed in writing before anything is paid.
Cost to the creativeNo listing fee, no subscription, no bidding. Payment on delivery from funds the platform already holds.

SETSEBI

A regional register of corporate training practitioners and team-building providers. It is not a course catalogue. It lists people rather than scheduled courses, on the argument that most real training needs are specific to a company and are met by a practitioner building to a brief.

An organisation describes what its people need to be able to do afterwards. A person reads the brief and makes the introduction. The organisation then contracts with the practitioner directly.

The listing test is a single question: would a serious company hire this person to do the job, not merely to teach it. Someone who has run the function is listed; someone who has only studied it is not.

SETSEBI publishes what its checks do not establish. It does not verify statutory registration on a live basis, is not an accreditation body, and does not confirm insurance or tax standing. Buyers are asked to carry out their own due diligence before contracting. The name is Setswana for the one who knows.
ItemDetail
MarketsBotswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Cross-border delivery is treated as normal rather than exceptional.
Organisational levelSeven, from frontline and operations through supervisory, senior management and executive, plus one for a whole team across levels.
DisciplinesSeventeen at launch, including governance, occupational health and safety, labour law, finance for non-financial managers, and digital skills.
Delivery modeOn site, off site, live virtual, hybrid, blended, or a keynote. Format is chosen after expertise, not before it.
Two checksA one-time code to the email address given, then a person confirms the practitioner does the work claimed and speaks to references.
CostPosting a need is free and takes about two minutes. Listing is free.

CHINYAMA

A livestock board for the cattle trade of southern Africa. Whoever holds the animals posts what they have and where it is standing. Whoever wants animals posts what they need and in what condition. Both sides sit on one board, arranged district by district, and a person puts the two parties on a call when a fit is confirmed.

The distinction from an auction is deliberate and it is the whole design. There is no bidding, no clock and no algorithm. A holder in a rural district usually has one buyer, whoever drives out that week. That is not a shortage of demand. It is a shortage of sight.

A listing is nine fixed fields, all of them dropdowns, because a paragraph cannot be sorted or matched against a requirement. Transport is carried as its own side of the board, and route permits and veterinary clearance are set out for each corridor.

CHINYAMA introduces and coordinates. It does not own, buy, sell, move or value livestock, it never handles money, and it takes no commission on a sale. Price, weighing and payment sit between the two parties. Guidance on permits is general and is not legal advice.
ItemDetail
MarketsTen districts open across Botswana, Zimbabwe and South Africa.
Sorted by district firstBecause the first question in this trade is where an animal is standing and what it takes to move it.
The listingNine fixed fields: species, breed, number, condition, weight band, district, nearest town, tag status and veterinary status.
The buying sidePosts what it takes, from which districts, and whether the need is one-off or ongoing. An ongoing requirement does not expire.
Three listing statesPost not confirmed, genuine post, and verified by CHINYAMA. Each means exactly what it says.
CostListing livestock, posting a requirement and listing transport capacity are all free, with no commission on the haul.

CABANGA ACADEMY

The Cabanga Digital Navigator certification. A structured digital strategy programme for business owners, marketers and entrepreneurs, refined out of ten years of running the group's own campaigns across twelve markets rather than assembled from a syllabus.

It sits differently from the other three. Those are boards that connect two sides of a trade. This one teaches the discipline the boards are built on, which is how to find an audience, hold its attention and convert it without buying reach you cannot afford.

The programme runs online and is assessed. Students complete assignments through the modules and sit a final exam before certification, so the certificate records work done rather than attendance.

Enrolment is open year-round, and students join from across the continent. Fees and intake detail are published on the CABANGA ACADEMY site.

CHITO

The verified remote talent corridor. Botswana has educated, English-speaking professionals who can do the work. What stops them being hired abroad is not skill, it is an employer in another market having no way to be sure the infrastructure behind them will hold.

So CHITO verifies the operation before it verifies the person. A coordinator sees the working setup on a live call: the machine that holds a clean video call, the backup that actually carries it, two lines on two carriers, and a room to work from. Every listing carries the date it was last checked.

Listings are anonymous. An employer sees discipline, qualification, experience, rate band, hours available a day and time-zone overlap, and no name or photograph. Identity opens at the introduction, which keeps the decision on the work and keeps the register from being scraped.

CHITO is an introduction layer. It is not an employer of record, it does not run payroll, and the employer and the professional sign their own contract.

NDARAMBA

Ndaramba means I refuse. Somebody demands a bribe to do the job they are already paid to do, or threatens you unless you pay. Those are the same act seen from two sides, and the person on the receiving end usually believes they have two options: pay, or take the consequences.

NDARAMBA is the third option. It connects that person to an admitted lawyer who can act, in confidence, within one business day. What the platform does is narrow on purpose: it takes the account, holds what was brought with it, and makes one introduction.

Nobody is charged. Not the person reporting, not the lawyer. That is the whole design and it is covered in full on the public interest page.

It is not the police, and it does not imply that a submission is an official report. It gives no legal advice and promises no outcome. The lawyer does that work.
ItemDetail
Two categoriesExtortion and corruption. Two buttons, nothing else to work out.
The supply sideA panel of admitted legal practitioners across the region.
What stays sealedAnyone named goes only to the lawyer and is never published.
The public registerAnonymised: the category, the region, roughly what was demanded, and that help was connected. No names, no accused, no blacklist.
CostNothing from the person reporting and nothing from the lawyer. No referral fee and no fee split.
What it will not doDecide guilt, publish an accusation, encourage confrontation, or tell anyone to pay a demand to gather proof.

What comes next

More are being built on the same pattern.

We are building them in the order the demand justifies, and each one will be announced when it opens rather than before. If you operate in a corridor that has the same three problems, we would rather hear from you now than after we have built it.
